About Me

Lisa Adams is a graduate of the University of Guelph’s Nutritional and Nutraceutical Sciences Honours program, and of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) where she earned the four-year professional designation of Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (ND). She has been involved as a volunteer and athlete at both institutions, and was a part of CCNM’s dragon-boat team throughout her studies.

At CCNM she gained specialized clinical skills in Naturopathic diagnosis and treatment, Herbal Medicine, Homeopathy, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture, to name a few.  She uses these modalities in practice to treat the root cause of disease, support the healing systems of our body, and to implement healthy living initiatives.  She believes in treating each person as an individual, empowering them to find their own balance of physical, emotional and spiritual health so that the highest quality of life can be achieved.

She has additional training and experience in the health food and health supplement industry as a dispensary consultant at “The Big Carrot.” Lisa has successfully treated many common ailments, and incorporates nutrition and lifestyle counseling as a foundation of her family medical practice.
